Would it be presumptous of me to assume that the main reason (or common reason) for people leaving Islam is not much to do with the spiritual aspects of the religion, but more so the laws and the apparent disparities and the inherent patriarchial ideas and notions?

I’ve been thinking about this for a while now, and believe this is probably the main reason stated for those who leave Islam (declare themselves as ex-Muslims, or simply stop practising) since I dont think the spiritiual side of it bothers many. But the Shariah does.

Anyone else think the same? (I would’ve written this up properly, in article format but I can’t be bothered doing anything these days. So apologies in advance)
